LIFE:

Childhood:
Marilyn (or just Mari) was a late baby, her mother died soon after she gave birth to her.
So Mari grew up with her loving father for 4 years, until something terrible happen to her home, she lived in a small village in the countryside that got attacked by humans, they burned it down, and killed anyone they got their hands on.
Mair's father told her to run away and hide, while he helped save what was left of their home. He promised he her, that one day he will find her.
Mari ran, and ran until she found a cave, she hid inside and waited, and waited, and waited, until she fell asleep.

She was awoken by a bright light, that burned her eyes, but she couldn't stop staring into it, it was beautiful! It reminded her of her mother, (that she only knew from photos) it looked bright and cheerful, and warm.
She reached out to touch it, but it was gone!

Just then, she felt a burning sensation on her back, it wasn't very strong, but she could feel it. And just like that, she had a pair of beautiful, feathered wings on her back, they weren't attached to her though, instead, they floated in mid-air. The light colours of the feathers matched the sky, as he carefully walked out into the world again, it was morning, dewdrops were scattered on the grass and trees, and little animals bounced about in the sun.

Teenhood:
As she grew up, Mari discovered that the wings weren't the only thing she now had, she could understand the animals, and they understood her, she could control fire, and levitate things, and so much more!
Mari decided to practise, until she could control all her powers, she would use them to hunt, and to build a little tree house for her to sleep in.

She loved the wild, and they loved her, she would spend as much time with animals as she could, she would help them when they were hurt or hungry.
Everything was going great!
But it was too great, too perfect, and nothing can stay perfect forever.

Eventually, her forest was to be cut down, she tried to convince the people to stop, but nothing worked. She told them it was her home! But that was a big mistake, she was only 12, it was against the law for her to live without an adult.
So they took her away to an orphanage, and in her panic she completely forgot about her powers!
As the car she was in drove further away, the roars of the machines faded along with her home.

In the orphanage, Mari tried to escape, she tried everything she knew.
But it was like a prison! No matter what she did she couldn't get out!
None of the kids liked her, she had no idea why!
She wanted to go, anywhere! As long as it was far away from this prison!
But she came to regret thinking that.

She soon had two families after her, both had good reasons to adopt her, and both looked like great families.
Eventually they decided, and she went with a man and his wife, David Johnson, and Anna Johnson.
For the first few days it was great, they gave her a little room, but didn't really pay much attention to her, and she liked it like that.
She liked her life, until David came back from work, drunk.
He never did it before, but it just started becoming normal! Him coming back drunk and drinking even more, that didn't bother Mari, until he came up to her room.
Him coming up to her room became more regular, every time he was drunk, he would come up, and force her to do things with him a daughter and father shouldn't even think of together!

Mari was only 16, and she didn't like her parents, she didn't like been raped by her step dad, she didn't like been bullied at school, she didn't like all the girls teasing her because she was prettier, or the boys constantly asking her out despite her saying NO multiple times.
She didn't like her life! Mari hated it!

One night, she couldn't take it, and she was consumed by darkness, the demons took over her body, and killed her step-parents, she was left with
one demons wing instead of her old feathered one.

She went on living alone in the house, she got on with her life, but the memories of her past haunted her, the demon inside of her saved her life! Bus she want sure if to trust it.
